The Concept

The concept of Fat Burning Furnace is that you will boost your metabolism through increasing lean muscle by doing short but intense interval training. In the beginning, Poulos states the flaws and stands against the standard cardio workout that most people pursue. Poulos says cardio is not nearly as efficient at burning fat as doing intense training in shorter bursts, which is also called interval training.

Instead, Poulos suggests you stop with the cardio and start doing short but more intense workouts. These workouts only take 15-20 minutes three times a week.

The workouts described in the program are circuit training.  Poulos does go into detail on how this will make you look toned, not overly built like a bodybuilder.
